Seriously, our little boy now plays catch. The video below kinda shows it, and he has gotten a lot better at the catching portion the last day or so. And yes, he laughed so hard he gave himself the hiccups.
In other news, we still have an ear infection. To quote the great sage, it is what it is. He doesn't seem to mind so we keep trucking.
His mobility improves by the hour, and the teachers at daycare are convinced we're raising the next Brad Hoover. Apparently, our young William will move anything in his path to create a hole to get to his goal.
Everyday his personality shines through. He is good natured, inquisitive, stubborn. He generally loves to explore, but needs that assurance that one of us is nearby. Mark and I really love it when he picks up Goodnight Moon or the Hungry Hungry Caterpillar and "reads" them by babbling out loud as he tries his best to manipulate the pages. And, he's really starting to enjoy us reading his books to him.
We also now live in the world of baby gates. Our old end table is gone, the lamp is out of reach, and two gates are permanently stationed at the entry ways to the den. Will seems to enjoy his room. Here are some photos of him exploring.
And, the previously mentioned video.
