Meeting Great Grandmother and Other Such Things

First, I post this picture because Mark and Will are cute. But really, I want you to check out the background. Our den has been OVERRUN. Yep. The Will invasion has happened. We have car seats, bouncer seats, bottles, packages from relatives, and other baby related items. The clutter is going to kill me at some point, but right now I'm a bit too tired to care. Plus, the living room is relatively baby free so I can always retreat there during nap time.

In more important news, Will got to meet his great-grandmother Annabelle this weekend. My brother went and picked her up from Goldsboro on Friday and she's in town for the week. They were quite taken with one another, even though more than 90 years separates them.

The first day he slept through the entire visit, but on day two he was good and awake for most of their time together. Except for when we sat down for Sunday dinner, which was very nice on his part. He did wake up when the strawberry shortcake came out and seemed a bit miffed that he wasn't getting any.

He also got to check out his new play mat that was given to my mother by one of her co-workers. It comes in handy for all sorts of things. Not only does it have toys and other tactile things for him to play with, but we stuck it in the corner of the dining room for him to sleep on while we ate.
